Building Healthy Families Society,which has been operating since 1988, provides a variety of quality parenting education and support services that meet the needs of families with children from infant to 16 years of age. Our goal is to help families build strong, healthy, lifelong, relationships.

The BC Council for Families works to help create healthy families in a healthy society. Our goal is to empower families. We provide educational resources on topics such as parenting, childhood development, parent-teen relationships, work-life balance, suicide awareness and more.

The Kids Count Program, operating since March 1999, is an early intervention, home visiting program based on the Healthy Families America Model. It is a voluntary program that works with overburdened families who are parenting for the first time. This program is designed to promote positive parent-child interaction, healthy childhood growth and development, and strong, healthy families. In partnership with other community services, this program strives to offer holistic support based on the unique strengths and needs of individual families. Service is provided to parents who are expecting or with a baby of up to 3 months of age. Referral to Kids Count is through Public Health Nurses.

Multiple Births Canada strives to improve the quality of life for multiple-birth individuals and their families in Canada. With an extensive network of local chapters, health care professionals and organizations, we are the source for information on multiple-births in Canada.

Okanagan Families Society works together with children, youth, parents and families in the Okanagan to build healthy and positive relationships within their families and communities.

The Peachland Wellness Centre is committed to the vision of healthy communities achieved through community advocacy and direct local services. A community is often best suited to provide for the needs of its residents.
The Wellness Centre has undertaken and completed a Community Needs Assessment and presented this assessment to Peachland Municipal Council in 2003. The programs offered by the Wellness Centre fall directly from this assessment.
The Peachland Wellness Centre is a non-profit registered charity that operates independently of other similar organizations. As an Affiliate Member of the United Way, the Peachland Wellness Centre is committed to maintaining a high degree of professionalism and quality in the services offered.

Public Health Nurses with additional training in Breastfeeding provide individualized assessments, counselling and referrals to breastfeeding families.

The Safe Online Outreach Society's purpose is to educate the public about exploitation on the internet by doing research, creating materials and delivering presentations and workshops that will train youth, professionals and parents on how to recognize and respond to online sexual exploitation and assist children and youth affected by this issue.
