Tip of the Week:
On the eve of a series of powerful planetary alignments, a few key insights. In the grand symphony of our solar system, from the perspective of Earth, from where we breathe, perceive and live, the music of the spheres is rising to a grand crescendo. These alignments are designed to awaken new levels of consciousness and to shake many sectors of society. The great alchemical process that is nature is now implementing its cosmic intent in a most dramatic and wonderful way. Not all will agree with the wonderful part, thus is the nature of ego control, attachment and fear, and few are entirely free of its grip, if any but certainly some more than others. Though we are happy that the cycles of change have ushered us to this place, ‘please stop the cycling and gyrating ride now’, will be the prayer of some. But something has to give because civilization is injuring the planet. Jupiter (Expansion) the final degrees of Pisces will form an opposition aspect with Saturn (contraction) – a celestial tug of war is underway (exact May 22). The old guard that Saturn represents is not in great shape. As it moves forward to soon enter Libra again after months of retrograde (Jan. 13-May 30), it must contend with making its final square aspect with Pluto in mid August. More importantly, Saturn (Cronos) must first deal with the distraction of revolutionary and innovative Uranus (Ouranos) joining with Jupiter (Zeus) finally grabbing hold of the rope and exerting its influence on June 8. This match will prove extra exciting - now!  On July 27 Saturn’s final opposition with Uranus the 5th since its first on November 4, 2008 (Barack Obama makes history breaking U.S. tradition…) Saturn in initiative oriented yet indecisive Libra will yield. Its final Square to Pluto will surely produce a significant shift – a challenge to reorient our perspectives and priorities. Resistance is futile yet conscious, pro-active choice is available.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
Amidst a busy schedule, you may be challenged to decipher where your focus is best directed. As much as you would like to tend to things close to home, professional and other social responsibilities require your attention. Persevere as you can where you feed the need is greatest and get ready for a storm of spurious activities.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
Circumstances of late are leading to reveal all your gifts and talents and/or to explore new ones. This includes merging your skills and energies with those of others and in new ways. Expect the work load to increase. Paying closer attention to your health and the quality of your overall lifestyle is also likely and wise. Rather than resist, work with the changes you may need to make.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
The time has come to step into new territory. This may include re-modeling or renovating your home. Yet there is something deeper yet at play. A new you, let alone residence, is on the rise. To succeed you may have to let go and move on somehow. At worst you find yourself lost in a sea of emotion and desire. At best, you are growing fins to move in it more freely.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
A time of deep reflection, contemplation, communication and planning is underway. The first big waves of change are rolling in now. Expect these to increase noticeably this week. You will begin to swim hard and fast, by choice and perhaps necessity. If you need help, ask for it and it will be given. Determine your resolve then commit.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
A charge of ambition is rising in you. This will remain especially strong for a few weeks anyway. You will soon feel inspired to make a lot of new connections, communications and friends in your network. You are also in the mood to take some risks. These include exploring new modes of expression. Learn new techniques and/or technology.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
The challenge to be responsible has been strong. Dealing with the remnants of particularly difficult Mercury Retrograde period for you (April 18-May 30 – includes the shadow or recovery period of 3 weeks), may have been quite a challenge. At best, you have received more recognition and/or have achieved a lot. But you have probably really earned it. Persevere, it gets better soon.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
Learning, study and investigation have been keeping you busy. You have probably been dealing with a lot and feel you have some big hurdles ahead, and you do! Sometimes the fates push, shake and rattle us more than at others; this time may be a prime example. Avoid trying to change others. Instead, focus to heed the command of your own inner authority.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
The tug of war between higher and lower will, may be extra active in you these days. Half the battle is deciphering which is which. Fear is the lower and love is the higher. Yet gaining clarity between these is the real spiritual challenge. Since life does not judge but teaches by circumstance, you can let in such earth wisdom to guide you to the high road.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Exciting connections with friends new and old are keeping you busy. Whether the excitement has created inspiration or upset is another question. A stubborn resolve is emerging from within and you are willing to push as necessary. You may feel that your big opening is nigh and you intend to be ready for it. Make efforts to remain focused.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
All your engines are firing now. You are on the verge of a major launch. Risks, investment, venture and gamble - whatever it takes you will do it. You may feel tired of being afraid and afraid of being tired – thus a renewed commitment to action. Weave the creating of a healthier lifestyle overall into your plans for true success.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
Like your Capricorn friends, you are n the mood to roll the dice. Your perspectives are changing quickly now. Your sense a growing determination to make whatever moves and changes you feel you must to assert your will. You may feel the need to surrender desire to necessity. Anticipate a major new learning curve soon.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
Tending to business close to home, feels like your best focus now. However, you may have to attend to errands and short journeys all the while. You may not feel like working as much as you may have to these days. An extra push from others is incoming now to keep you on track. Be willing to move with the usual rhythm yet anticipate some big changes as well.
