Summer Solstice this year occurs on June 21, 2010 at 4:30 am PDT. With the New Moon in Gemini containing the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, this Solstice is packing extra charge. Standing back, we see a whole host of powerful aspects poised to deliver their purpose now and over the course of summer. Standing further back yet we can use Era 2012 that began in 1980 and ends in 2016, a 36 year period as our time frame. This period so far has seen the emergence of the holistic healing movement and the New Age and their many spiritual leaders, the awareness of peak oil and the limited water supply, global warming and the environment crisis, the fall of the Soviet Union, the internet, the rise Barack Obama and the list goes on. This wide angle is important to understanding our current situation. Closer in, we see a lot of planet activity affecting the economy now. Not surprisingly this began in 2007 when Jupiter joined Saturn in Virgo and shortly after in January Pluto entered Capricorn. All these planets in Earth signs synchronized with the current economic downturn/transformation process. Pluto in any sign tends to have a cleansing and purging effect. The list of current examples include: the HST debate, new economic laws in Europe the economic downturns and scandals in the U.S.A. The Jupiter/Uranus in Aries conjunction on June 8 sits right in the midst of the drama. The meaning of the planet positions are certainly synchronized with the dramatic changes of our times.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
With places to go, people to meet and a lot to say you are on an exciting role. The time has come to take some calculated risks.
