Tip of the Week:

Saturn and Uranus in Opposition have now formed 4 of 5 conjunctions since November 4, 2008. Observe the first, synchronizing with the election of Barack Obama. Now, on July 26 at 10:05 am PDT this pair positioned in a mighty ‘Opposition Aspect’ (= 180 degrees, symbolic of Full Moon and metaphorically like a tug-o-war) will complete their cycle of 5 oppositions. The last in a series of aspects like this one is the decider, the victor in the struggle. Change is inevitably the result. We are already experiencing the magnitude and the consequences of this change. In addition to this, the 5th of 5 ‘hits’, both planets will be positioned at 0 degrees Libra and Aries respectively. The other 4 connections occurred in Virgo and Pisces. The Cardinal Mode of Aries and Libra implies action as each is symbolic of the first month of each season. Further, zero degrees of Aries and Libra = Spring and Autumn Equinoxes. So, the summer peak mentioned many times is here; do you notice the increase in the drama of change on the world stage? This is just the beginning and the main curve in the road will last about 5 years with a good deal of twists along the way. You can read more in my New Moon Newsletter where I will elaborate. (Free Sign-up!)  *NOTE: There are always many overlapping cycles, looking for very specific events on the exact days of powerful planetary alignments misses the point that change is happening as part of a process and flow. Seeking specific events on specific dates when looking to planetary alignments that affect us all reveals a misunderstanding of how Astrology works. The same can be said for December 21, 2012 which is better understood as a key date in a 36 year era, 1980-2016, and this aspect series is an important theme in this era.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
A new measure of power and quality of self-expression is evident in you these days. You are in the mood to take some very real risks, to try something new, perhaps radically. You are willing to work hard to achieve a satisfying outcome but may not be sure how to best give to the situation. Begin with a creative approach, keep an open mind and yet focus.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
The time has come to commit to the next stage of an important development process. Change is implied as is making the most of other people’s skills and resources. This week you may feel extra sensitive and even defensive of your position. Approach all situations with a keen focus on learning and listening at least as much as sharing and expressing your perspectives.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Your sense of security meter may be going from one extreme to another now. This stands to change soon, but not quite yet. Roll up your sleeves and be willing to work with people and situations with aims at beautifying your environment. Create a space that inspires you. Many new people and events are poised to keep you inspired, if a bit scattered. Practice the power of now!

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
A pioneering mood continues to guide your focus. This cycle will continue for a while yet; in the short term, a few weeks anyway. Now is the time to act on important decisions that you want to make, lest you lose your nerve with too much thinking about security and not enough pioneering risk. Opportunities come and go; some are recognized and many are missed - pay attention.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
Despite the sunny season, you may be happy to be behind the scenes these days and may not feel as energetic as you may feel you ‘should’. This will change by next week and you will begin to experience a much stronger focus and will to take action. Meanwhile, many new realities are pouring in bringing opportunities and blessings. Receive and weave them into your life.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Sudden and unexpected changes are shaking your world. Your power potential is on the rise and new opportunities emerging. Yet, do you have a clear sense of your goals and direction? It is time to clarify your self-concept, what you want and need, where you are going and what steps you are going to take. Exercise as much self reliance as you can.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
It seems that everyone is at a crossroads, perhaps you especially. To handle the situation, you are in a take command mood. This includes taking risks and making changes both within and without. Investing time and energy into forging promising new relationships, both personal and professional is part of the plot. Exercise your executive abilities.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
A quest for a creative vision that you can believe in, is stirring all your sense faculties. Some major changes in your lifestyle are at play. You can cry conspiracy, or you can blame the gods or you can accept the reality that life is all about change and work with it consciously. Doing the work implies activating your imagination playing with new possibilities.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Dealing with unfinished business from the past is a central theme. You probably want to move on, but do you know how? Sometimes it is our own habitual attitudes and perspectives that are the hook. You are being invited to re-create yourself somehow. Be open to new tools, techniques, methods and strategies. Get excited about exploring new horizons and perhaps dimensions too.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
Sometimes we need to nurture our relationships while at others we need to build entirely new foundations. You are coming to a peak point in your journey. Navigating some tricky terrain is likely over the next several weeks. A big question is to who and what do you feel most committed? In being true to yourself you will realize the importance of your relationships.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
Nurturing health and fulfillment in your overall lifestyle continues. This includes your involvement in the world and your vocation. Realizing that being of service can occur in many ways is important now. Reassessing what exercising your power means is part of a deeper soul searching journey for you. The key now is to be as flexible as you can and be open to variety.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
Play time in the summer sun means entertaining many new creative possibilities. Taking risks and new initiatives is also implied. Dealing with a hefty to do list which includes keeping family and clients satisfied is a central theme. Expect to begin some form of training soon. Creating a better overall state of health and balance is likely to be a top priority.
