Tip of the Week:

The Total Solar Eclipse happens on July 11 at 12:40 pm PDT at 19 Cancer 24. The eclipse path ranges from the South Pacific NE of New Zealand and ends on the southern tip of South America – Chile and Argentina. The path of the eclipse is the strongest. On the other hand, the degree of the eclipse brings it close to home for a lot of people. Anyone with planets or other sensitive points in their chart at about 17 to 21 degrees will feel the affects of this eclipse most strongly, especially if these are in the Cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Yet, all people will experience the eclipse in one of the 12 Houses of their chart. Last week’s Horoscope shed some light on the effects for each sign. To know the effects more specifically, your birth chart with the correct time is ideal. Solar Eclipses can be understood as having an added charge and quality. This quality is subject to the base eclipse to which a given eclipse belongs, the Saros Cycle. This one emerges from the South Pole which generally implies seed themes and events from the past. Fortunately, amidst a lot of troubling news on the airwaves these days, this eclipse stems from a family (12 South) that brings a benevolent message where recovery from setbacks, illnesses delays or frustrating blocks is implied. If the eclipse happens to activate difficult points in one’s chart, the otherwise positive influence may not be experienced. For example, some people get sunburned on lovely hot sunny days. Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

There is a lot shaking close to home. While your house is implied, your family, roots, ancestors and/or the very core of your own subjective sense of self – where you feel secure – is being shifted. This may well include renovations or new furniture or perhaps a room mate coming in or going out and maybe a big clean-up as well. One way or another, you are committed to establishing a whole new level of freedom. Communicate clearly, set boundaries and celebrate the free flow of your individuality.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

You are in a pioneering mood and are ready for change. Taking risks and initiatives may be clearly on your mind otherwise they may emerge suddenly from external sources. Ideally, you are ready to do ‘the work’ to get to the bottom of things. Establishing a more reliable and inspiring rhythm may be a top priority. Yet you may feel unsure and insecure about what or how; if so, seek guidance.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Stirrings at subconscious levels are moving you to clear within so as to clear without. Whenever a negative outer event occurs, look within to see how and why you created or attracted it. As esoteric as it sounds, that is way the subconscious works. Endless defence and blaming of others is sign of ego-centrism. See outer projections as your own reflections and you will resolve them soon and successfully.

Luck and opportunity is often stimulated from our associations with others and this is such a time. Of course, your expertise, experience, awareness and willingness to engage are required. Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Shifts and changes continue to rumble through your world. There is reason to believe that these are for the better. As long as you are flexible and flowing with the currents cooperatively, you should be on the high ground. You may be experiencing the challenge to ‘feel the fear and do it anyway.’ If you are feeling it but not seeing the path clearly, seek guidance.
