New Virus (Complaining)
Written by: Tyler Ray Sauve
Let’s talk about complaining for a moment shall we?
My brother (not a complainer) had a great analogy that he shared with me.
Complaining is like a germ, a virus, or some kind of an infection. The key to removing this infection is to find out where it began. Find out what it was that started you down this path. Usually it’s caused by someone else who has also been infected with negative thoughts. Maybe someone was complaining to you; either about you, about someone else, or maybe just about life in general.
Whatever the case, that infection has spread. You contracted this disease.
You have now been diagnosed as a complainer, a pessimist. If you’re immune system (your positive belief system) isn’t strong enough, you too will begin showing systems of this infection. And once you do, the spreading continues. With only a single exposure to such a disease, the potential of being infected is HUGE!
Unless, you see it coming. Unless, you keep you eye open for this spreading virus. Not to focus on it, or dwell on it, but to make sure your immune system is at its highest.
Here’s a simple way to test your immune system:
1. Do you believe that life is an enjoyable adventure or a difficult struggle?
2. Do you believe that things come easily to you and that there is an abundance of everything in the world?
3. Do you believe in the law of attraction, and that no one is without that which they truly want?
4. Do you believe that you are getting stronger and smarter everyday?
5. Do you believe that there is NOTHING in this world that you can’t do if you truly wanted to?
If this belief system is weak, or taking a day off, and if you get exposed to disease of “the victim”, or “lack of”, or “poor me” you too might take on the symptoms and begin your downward spiral to a world of complaining and despair. The interesting thing about perspective is however you choose to view the world, you’re right. If it’s that of abundance or that of shortage - you’re right. If you view the world in crisis, or a world of opportunity – you’re right. If you view the end of this article as the end of such a ridiculous idea, or the beginning of a new way of looking at life, you too are right
