As a dog trainer in the valley I've run into many different attitudes about dogs being off leash in different areas of the city. I'd like to hear your ideas on ways to make Kelowna and area an enjoyable place for both our two legged and four legged friends!

I have a small child and I am always cautious about dogs that are not on a leash. There have been many instances when a dog would rush up to my daughter's face and not knowing whether the dog is friendly or fierce, I would have to shield my child, and take the approach that any dog is dangerous. I like dogs and would prefer to meet them in public on a leash.
