This Fine Art/Studio course taps into the vivacious art of the Impressionists, as well as the historical and cultural mood of Paris in the 19th century.

Students can explore a variety of art techniques, and develop design and technical skills while producing significant projects, as well as a body of sketches.

Students earn 4 credits while exploring:

I would like to share some of my insights, take questions and engage in discussions about how to do a spiritual practice.

I first became a Buddhist monk in 1977, and have practiced in both the Theravadin (which came here from Thailand) and Tibetan traditions. I have the title of "lama", or teacher, as a result of having completed a three‐and‐a‐half‐year retreat (1982‐1985) under the guidance of Kalu Rinpoche, one of the Dalai Lama's teachers.

The Okanagan Festival Singers will perform three celebratory works: Handel's "Dixit Dominus", Hayden's "Lord Nelson Mass", and "Zadok the Priest" from the Coronation Mass.
