I would like to just take a minute to introduce myself and the Doggytopia team. My name is Brenda and I am the owner of Doggytopia. I am also a certified dog trainer and have spent the last 12 years or so learning everything I can about dog behavior and health.
My goal is to create an environment for dogs where their needs are completely met; body, mind and soul. Please feel free to contact me with questions, concerns or even just feel good dog stories and testimonials. I would love to hear from you!

The City of Kelowna offers 51 parks where dogs are permitted either on or off leash. In parks that permit dogs on leash, we request that dogs be kept on the sidewalk or trails. Dogs must be in the control of their owners at all times, and owners are expected to clean up after their pets immediately. There are five parks in Kelowna where dogs are allowed off-leash.

The Okanagan APBT Club is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to promote the breed. Our goal is to become UKC sanctioned and provide our members with an enjoyable and safe environment to showcase their dogs.

The Okanagan Dog Owners Association (OKDog) is about maintaining a voice in the community for dog owners. We started in 1999 as a group lobbying for greater dog access to parks. If you think Kelowna is dog-unfriendly now, you should have tried it then!

Pets and People currently has more than 48 volunteers and 40 pets visiting in 15 facilities in the Kelowna area. We are always looking for friendly pets (and friendly pet owners) to join our team of volunteer visitors! Our visiting pets include cats, dogs and even rabbits! A wide variety of breeds are accepted.
