Cross Country BC (CCBC) is the sport governing body for cross country skiing in British Columbia. As such the Association partners with the other provincial/territorial sport governing bodies for cross-country skiing and together they constitute a national sport organization – Cross Country Canada.

Cross Country BC is an incorporated, non-for-profit, club-based Association of 14,000 members.

Nickel Plate Nordic Centre, is located in the scenic Okanagan Valley, just 45 minutes from downtown Penticton. It boasts 65 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing, as well as, well marked backcountry and snowshoe trails. At 6000 feet elevation we enjoy one of the longest ski seasons in the western hemisphere, with trails for all abilities.

The Okanagan Club for Skiing, Sports and Socials was founded in 1972 as the Orchard Country Ski Club (OCSC) by an enthusiastic group of Kelowna skiers. We
are a registered not-for-profit organization in BC, run by volunteers. There is a mix of singles and couples who enjoy sports and activities all year round. We have both avid and occasional skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Many people join for our many sports and social events. Our adult club is about having fun, meeting people, getting exercise, and making new friends. Recently, we updated our name to the Okanagan Club for Skiing, Sports and Socials to reflect our many activities besides skiing.
The Okanagan Club will be organizing many sports teams and leagues in the near future, please contact our executive for details, or come to one of our monthly
meetings to meet our members, all newcomers who have a positive attitude and want to get involved are very welcome
