Confidence on Camera is an intensive workshop in the techniques of acting and auditioning for film, television and commercials led by Michael Bean, owner and head coach of Vancouver’s Biz Studio. Now with a class size of eight to ensure maximum individual attention for each student. This is professional screen acting, not just theatre games. Class is primarily scene study, and students will be assigned a 1-2 page scene from a recent film&television script to prepare for the class. Class begins with a mock audition and individual coaching, and includes exercises in audition technique, camera technique and acting technique for commercials, film & television. Video from the class will be posted to a private page on www.bizstudio.ca after the class so students can watch and evaluate their work (and share it with friends and family).

Founded in 1977 by Joan Panton, Sunshine is in its 31st season, having started as a summer theatre doing such shows as Boeing-Boeing and Wait Until Dark.
A significant development was the opening of the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts in 2002. This 326-seat house is now the primary performance venue for Sunshine Theatre.

Viva Musica is a registered non-profit society established in 1991 by Music Director, Roslyn Frantz and Artistic Director, Neal Facey to provide a performance venue, primarily for Okanagan singers and musicians, both professional and non-professional. Our Mandate is to produce high - calibre musical theatre and operatic works accessible to and enjoyed by a wide audience. We are committed to youth participation by developing technical training programmes for young artists and technicians. In addition, we promote community involvement by volunteers and local business.
