Today, the Central Okanagan Region is home to several hundred amateur radio operators of whom over one hundred are members of the O.C.A.R.C. Many of our members are also registered as volunteers with the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP). Our radio amateurs provide communication facilities for municipal, regional and national sporting events and are ready to respond to any emergency.

The Tasting Room airs on the dial in the Okanagan on Saturdays from 10 am – 12 noon in Kelowna at AM 1150 and in Summerland at AM 1450; on Saturdays from 5-7 pm at AM 1410 THE BUZZ (formerly CFUN) in greater Vancouver, Victoria and Vancouver Island, Whistler, and south into Washington State in the US; in Edmonton on The Team 1260 from 9-11 AM on Saturdays. The show is also broadcast live on this site from 10am – 12 noon, PST.
