Today, the Central Okanagan Region is home to several hundred amateur radio operators of whom over one hundred are members of the O.C.A.R.C. Many of our members are also registered as volunteers with the Provincial Emergency Program (PEP). Our radio amateurs provide communication facilities for municipal, regional and national sporting events and are ready to respond to any emergency.
