Kelowna Jaycees are a group of young male professionals and entrepreneurs that strive to grow as individuals while positively impacting our community, Kelowna BC.

We look to strengthen our leadership characteristics by being involved, taking different courses, or working on local, regional, national and international events and projects - all voluntary and all in a welcoming environment.

The Kelowna Jaycees are affiliated with Junior Chamber Internatioinal (JCI); a worldwide federation of young leaders, between the ages of 18-40. The organizatioin has been referred to as the premiere leadership development organization for young people.

Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.
Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

For over 57 years, the United Way has been a meaningful presence in the Okanagan and today the organization provides significant leadership and support to over 60 agencies and a variety of needs by investing in services and programs that help improve lives and strengthen the community.

Our Westbank Lions Club was chartered in 1967. Over the past thirty-nine years it has supported many projects, both fundraising and charitable. Our Clubs two major ongoing projects are the operation of the Westbank Community Centre, which it has done since 1976 through its Society known as the Westbank Lions Community Development Society, and the operation of the Lions Manor on Gellatly Road. This complex consists of forty suites for seniors with limited means, which the club has operated since 1988 through its Society known as the Westbank Lions Seniors Housing Society. In 2005, the latter Society added an additional forty unit extended care independent living complex.
