The Escape Pollution project is a local online resource for residents of Kelowna who are becoming environmentally conscious and are looking for information on the eco-options that are available throughout the city.
The project features a blog promoting local green news, products and solutions along with tips for eco-friendly living. There is a forums area that is used by the visitors to browse for specific topics and ask questions about local environmental issues and experts from within the city can offer their advice and tips to the rest of the community.
There's also a sustainable businesses directory that lists local business who provide sustainable solutions. The Escape Pollution project is also a brand building medium for businesses in the community that are looking to build an eco-friendly image.
Visitors can see quickly which companies are environmentally friendly. With businesses striving to be more environmentally conscious, they have an outlet to promote their brand and products.
