Our Mission: To educate students in a safe, inspirational learning environment where every student develops the knowledge and skills to be a lifelong learner and a healthy productive member of our global society.

Our school is the only one in North America named after a police officer, Constable Neil Bruce. The school enrolls students in grades 7, 8, & 9 and is located on Kelowna's Westside.

Dr. Knox Middle School is a dedicated school staff serves nearly 850 students in grades 7, 8, and 9, where the unique needs of middle school students are met through a variety of programs.

Our school consists of about 300 students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We have great school spirit, as well as awesome award winning sport teams!

An important unifying characteristic of our learning community is our shared relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We approach home learning from the fundamental understanding that God is at the centre of all we do.
Our teachers believe that in order to understand the unique potential of each child, they must develop a congenial relationship with parents. As the relationship between teacher and family grows, so does the potential for effective learning and development.

All schools are similar in that they teach and enrich the lives of children. Middle schools however have a unique way of increasing the awareness of our students to social issues, and to help them grow in their appreciation for life-long learning. Here at Rutland Middle School, we strive to achieve these goals each day with our students.

The Board of School Trustees and School District No. 23 staff believe that every student has the potential to be a self-disciplined, positive contributing member of society. The Board also believes students and employees have a right to a safe, nurturing and healthy learning environment.

A Category 1 Private School in Kelowna, B.C. Serving Kelowna, Peachland, Westbank, Lake Country, Winfield, Oyama and Okanagan Center. We offer both enriched and curative programs with active reading, writing, math and study skills as well as individualized instruction based on student learning styles. We incorporate traditional core human values of Love, Peace, Truth, Non-Violence, and Right Conduct in a non religious format. We offer a safe and nurturing environment, with class sizes of 18 up to Grade 9 and up to 20 in Grades 10 - 12.
