The BC Crime Prevention Association is an integrated team of citizens and police, dedicated to preventing crime. We provide ongoing province-wide education and awareness through our community partnerships.

We monitor and enforce maintenance orders and agreements (for either child support or spousal support).

BC NurseLine provides 24-hour, confidential health information and advice. Anywhere in the province, call BC NurseLine to speak to a registered nurse 24-hours or a pharmacist from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. every day. Specially trained nurses answer questions about health topics and procedures, identify symptoms, and help you decide when to see a health professional. Information and referrals are also provided to other services. Pharmacists are available to answer your questions about medications.

BC Housing is the provincial crown agency that develops, manages and administers a wide range of subsidized housing options for those in greatest need. We are committed to enhancing and forging new partnerships with private and non-profit housing providers, other levels of government, health authorities and community agencies to develop housing options for frail seniors, those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, people with mental and physical disabilities, Aboriginal people, and women fleeing from abusive relationships.

Block Parent Program - Parents in residential areas offer their homes as a place of safety to children when they find themselves in dangerous or frightening situations.

As a nation-wide, voluntary organization, the Canadian Mental Health Association promotes the mental health of all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness. The CMHA accomplishes this mission through advocacy, education, research and service.

The Caregivers Association of British Columbia (CABC) was formed in November 1991 by a group of family caregivers who wanted to bring a voice to the issues facing caregivers in British Columbia. CABC was incorporated and registered as a charity in April 1993. The office is presently located in Vancouver and currently employs an Acting Executive Director and an administrative assistant. The Board of Directors is comprised of members with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

The Central Okanagan Foundation is a charitable organization that provides an ongoing contribution to the quality of life in our community through the stewardship of entrusted funds, grant making and community leadership.

Church Serve is dedicated to extending hands of service in practical ways to those in need.
Church Serve began in 2002 as a collaborative effort between Evangel church and the Home and Community Care program of the Interior Health Authority. Its vision was to enable Christian volunteers to reach out to those with health or disability limitations.

The Kelowna and District Society for Community Living is a not-for-profit advocacy organization, governed by a volunteer board of directors that provides services to people with developmental disabilities and their families in day and business services, Integrated Community Opportunities and residential services

The Kelowna Newcomers' Club (KNC) is a social group for people of all ages. To be eligible for membership, you must be a recent resident of the area within the past two years.

The Kelowna North End Residents Association is an organization composed of residents of the north end of the City of Kelowna whose vision is to improve, maintain, and promote the neighbourhood in the City.

This site aims to serve the Okanagan Chinese community. We focus on promoting the Chinese culture, providing information on living and studying in Kelowna, and its surrounding cities and towns in British Columbia, and helping new immigrate to settle in Okanagan.

The Peachland Wellness Centre is a non-profit registered charity that operates independently of other similar organizations. As an Affiliate Member of the United Way, the Peachland Wellness Centre is committed to maintaining a high degree of professionalism and quality in the services offered.

Penticton & District Community Resources Society, a "not-for-profit" society, is governed by a Board of Directors elected from the community.

The Rental Assistance Program provides cash assistance to eligible low-income, working families with at least one child under the age of 19 and a gross household income less than $28,000 per year. The families must have lived in British Columbia for the last 12 months.

TRAC Tenant Resource & Advisory Centre we work to improve legal protection for tenants, and to promote community action for the purpose of protecting and increasing the supply of affordable rental housing in B.C.
