Bankhead Family Place invites parents and children to attend a unique preschool program experience. Bankhead is where children have the opportunity to play and learn with their parents alongside skilled Early Childhood Educators and where parents can play, gain information, observe, share skills and laugh, all in the company of other families.

Cameron Park Daycare offers quality licensed group daycare for ages 6 months-5 years old. There are 9 staff members in total, and all supervising staff is certified E.C.E. educators with specialized training in a variety of areas. We believe that children learn best in a positive, self-directed, age appropriate, respectful environment in which they have the opportunity to play. The child to teacher ratio is very low, and within a team oriented atmosphere, we acknowledge the importance of the partnership between caregivers and families.

Welcome to Kids' Kingdom Family Daycare. Kelowna's home based facility that is known for quality care and wonderful environment, especially created for the children, after all it's their kingdom!

Originally built in 1950, the Martin Avenue School had four classrooms, two washrooms, a gym and a staffroom to handle the overflow of Kelowna 's then overcrowded Elementary Schools. The school building was upgraded in 1960, and again in 1968 only to be shut down as a school in 1984 to become the Martin Education Centre the following year. In the summer of 2003 the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs were successful in its RFP bid to the City of Kelowna to operate the Martin Education Centre as the newly established Martin Avenue Community Centre.

Children are natural learners. They explore the world around them by experiencing it - touching and watching the things around them. most important, they involve themselves by experimenting with and actively participating in activities by which they learn.
