ANAVETS is comprised of a Dominion Command, which is located in Ottawa where the Headquarters is situated, and seven provincial commands. Currently the Association has units in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia as well as a unit in Woodstock N.B. and a unit in the United States (ANAVICUS), which is part of the American Legion. Ladies' Auxiliaries may be found at some units. When formed, they come under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Commands' Ladies' Auxiliaries.

Okanagan fruit growers are leaders in new environmentally friendly crop protection methods. We are pioneering Sterile Insect Release (SIR) technology for one of the world's worst apple and pear pests - the codling moth. The SIR program is enhanced by our B.C. Good Agricultural Practices program.

Providing early intervention services through a family-centered approach, the Central Okanagan Child Development Association supports families in promoting the optimum development of children with challenges.

CATCH is a movement of people, agencies, businesses and governments that acts as a catalyst & facilitator for improving early childhood development in the Central Okanagan. Based on input from the Community Network, CATCH operates under a non-hierarchical structure according to values identified by community members.

The Fire Chiefs' Association of British Columbia, a non-profit organization was formed in 1931 to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and educational information relative to the Fire Service of British Columbia. The FCABC strives to improve the Fire and Life Safety in the province and reduce the loss of life and property from the devastating impact of fire.
The FCABC maintains either membership or has a working relationship with other Provincial, National and International Fire Service Agencies and Associations.

The Kelowna Dragon Boat Club was formed in 1999 to promote fun and fitness through the sport of Dragon Boating and Kelowna Dragon Boat Team ship to make it available to the community at large. The KDBC provides a venue through which beginner to intermediate paddlers can learn and train. A Dragon Boat team consists of 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steerer. If you do not have enough members to make up a full team, we will help find enthusiastic members to join you!

Welcome to the Kelowna Gyro Club (founded in 1924). Kelowna Gyros conduct their business affairs around social activities, although many other clubs do have charitable activities. Our meetings are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays from September through June.
You can join us at the Capri Hotel in Kelowna.

The Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs is a leading provider of programs to children and youth that support the healthy physical, educational and social development for over 5,000 young people and families each year throughout the Okanagan valley. Each center creates a safe, supportive environment where children and youth experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. Our programs focus on an individual’s strengths and capabilities, and all programs embrace the principles of equality and inclusion. We help young people grow healthy, happy and safely from birth to adulthood, and are a resource and support for parents throughout their family’s involvement with us.

THEO BC provides training, education and job placement services to British Columbians so that they may achieve employment, independence and personal growth. Our programs serve the mental health and disabled communities and people in need of employment-related assistance or training.

We are an informal group of 80+ families in the Kelowna area. Together we arrange activities and lessons for families wishing to home educate in the Christian perspective.
The forums are intended to be our primary method of keeping in touch with each other. We also have an evening meeting covering a range of topics three times a year, where we distribute a group phone list.
