Armstrong is uniquely situated in the heart of the beautiful Spallumcheen Valley, between the sunny, rolling Okanagan Valley and the cooler, forested Shuswap Valley.This ideal location makes it one of the best and most beautiful agricultural areas in British Columbia. The valley to the south and northeast of Armstrong is cloaked in green alfalfa and golden wheat, while to the northwest, farms and ranches are nestled amongst the tall evergreens.

The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that markets our community and business - promoting products and services made and provided in Armstrong & Spallumcheen. At the same time, it is a watchdog protecting our interests, particularly in respect to our municipal governance. Located on the banks of the Lovely Shuswap River, with the Enderby Cliffs soaring overhead, the little City of Enderby is one of nature's playgrounds. With a downtown ambience reminisent of earlier days, it offers a wide array of shopping and dining experiences enveloped in a spirit of heritage. Antique shops, the Enderby and District Museum, art & craft galleries and cafes tempt a visitor to linger, and everything is within easy reach. With several farm and market gardens in the area fresh fruit and produce are always available.

Greater Vernon's beautiful setting surrounded by natural beauty of the countryside, nestled between three beautiful lakes, and world recognized golf & ski resorts definitely attracts countless visitors throughout the entire year, with genuine warm hospitality.

Founded in 1907 as a prime agricultural area, Naramata was also known in its early years as a cultural centre. People from across the Okanagan would arrive by boat for concerts, plays, operas and regattas. Paddlewheelers regularly stopped at the local wharf carrying freight and passengers up and down Okanagan Lake.

We, the Council of the District of Coldstream, are committed to a long-range plan for Coldstream, which fosters orderly growth and which enhances rural living at its best. Our mission is to make this a living plan supported by efficient fiscal management, appropriate policy and procedure development, and effective delivery of services.
