Jenni Fur

Author of Paws For Thought

Jenni Fur can’t remember a time when she wasn’t attracted to ‘critters.’ Gyp was the family collie who watched over her early years. Not just furry critters attracted her. At age five she was playing with worms and fuzzy caterpillars. A family move from Alberta to B.C. at seven years old provided the perfect house for playing with, and learning about garter snakes and their babies, frogs and tadpoles, grasshoppers of all shapes and sizes, black ants vs. red ones and those fascinating daddy-long-legs.

When she was about ten the family’s new puppy was tragically killed by a passing car. Watching Shep die was a harsh reality that has stayed with her for life, but didn’t deter her from loving again. A new puppy soon graced their home and by twelve she met her best friend, her new kitten Spook. So began her life filled with pets of all shapes and sizes… some with fur and some without, some domestic and some not so domestic. I’m sure many of them will appear in her column in the weeks to come.

Jenni Fur (aka Nancee Doan) can be found at wix.com/nancee/dog-training. She enjoys training dogs or house sitting for people’s beloved pets. Her business is Wag )~ the Tail End where she explores with owners how to create a happier home life for them and their dogs.

She invites you to participate in her column, Paws for Thought. Any contributions will be appreciated and used in articles when possible.
